You may notice something funny when poking around my blog over the next little while. I'm getting an extreme makeover! I have been debating the move to Wordpress for awhile now but never really felt the need to move. I think now is a great time to pack my bags, though!I've been looking to do a redesign of my blog recently, and then figured if I was doing one step I may as well take the plunge and move over. Though it's scary I keep hearing from people how easy it is once you are moved over and how you will wonder how you ever survived without WP. I sure hope that's the case (Gah!!!!)
So, if things look a little funny for awhile, forgive me while I get my bearings and get settled in. Domain will remain the same, it will just look a little different once I get switched over and then again in a few weeks when I get a facelift!
I just moved over yesterday and I'm happy. blogger lost most of my comments on my giveaways so I decided to move. It sucks I can't get the comments back BUT I am totally happy to be a WP now. I still need a layout but that will be up by the end of the week.

ReplyDeleteI'm moving as well. I was locked out of my blog for a few days, lost some comments, posts etc. That's enough of that! I'm halfway done the move - it's a bit of a learning curve but not so bad so far! Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly!

ReplyDeleteI wasn't affected by the craziness of yesterday but it was enough to scare me into making the move sooner than I had planned! It was something always on the backburner but now...yeah...I'm running before Blogger explodes. Maybe it won't, and maybe I'll have more stress than I can use right now but I hope in the long run it's a huge beneficial move (I think it will be).

ReplyDeleteI'm so so happy I moved! It's been 2 months for me, and it really was super easy to move - and to learn wordpress. After all the blogger stuff going on the last few weeks, and blogs getting randomly deleted, I'm glad you are making the move - you'll love it; can't wait to see your new look!
