SPI Belt (closed)


The SPI Belt is a running belt that can be used to carry any small personal items (SPI) that you need while on the go. Remember the atrocious fanny packs of the 80's? Who could forget those, right? As unfortunate as those items were to fashion victims everywhere, you have to admit they were really useful, but clumsy. The SPI Belt can carry iPod™, Blackberry™, cell, keys, and any other small items you need on the go.

My husband was happy to have an item just for him to review (because, trust me, you won't see me running outdoors anytime soon). He liked having a place to keep his keys while out for a run, and agrees that the SPI Belt really does not bounce, ride, or shift while running.

If I did enjoy running, I'd like the fact that the SPI belt comes in a great selection of colors because hey, I'm all about matching! My husband, on the other hand, was happy that it came in basic black and that suited him just fine! He actually suggested that I might still get use out of the belt when not running, as it's an easy place to store keys in the summer when we're out at events with the kids, so it's not necessarily just for running or other activities that make you sweat (ew).

    I like the black with black zipper. I don't think I would actually use it for running (although you never know...maybe I'll start running sometime), but I know my husband would use it.

    I'd pick either the black with black zipper or the black with orange zipper: I would use it on occasion while running to hold my shorts up [I HATE them bouncing!], but I would actually give it to my hubby; he's a firefighter and runs frequently to keep his fitness and lung capacity up :)

Since I don't run, I would use it for my phone and keys while out for a walk, or at the park with the kids for when I don't have anywhere else put put my stuff. Sometimes the kids was to walk, and I am not wearing pants with pockets. This looks like it would work well.

    I would pick orange with black zip. This is awesome! I have run a 5K before with a key in my sock because I came to the race alone and didn't have anyone to hold my car key.
    I think I would use this for times when I didn't want to carry my whole purse too. Is that nerdy?

    I love the Turquoise with black zipper. What a great idea for a a fannypack, type belt without looking tacky and it is so much more functional!

    I forgot to put what I would use this for and I would use it for storing my cellphone during my dog walks, at the mall when I don't want to carry a purse and outings with my kids.
