Lulu & Peep (closed)


When I was designing my daughter's nursery, one of the tasks that took me the longest was finding a laundry hamper for her room. Actually, with both my kids it was hard to find one that would work and match the room nicely (no plastic white hamper here, thank you). When my son was a baby, I actually used a wicker basket that one of my baby shower gifts came in. That served its purpose until my son was a toddler and started actually picking away at the wicker. For my daughter's room, I finally found one of those fold-down laundry/storage baskets that are basically cardboard covered with material, that you make into a little box. It's not pretty and doesn't entirely match her decor but it worked....again, until she started walking. Now, one of her favorite 'jobs' is to pull everything out the hamper and drag it around the house!!! I know moms of toddlers can relate to the frustration of constantly picking up after a toddler who likes to empty cupboards, drawers, and laundry hampers!

    I struggled with the same thing...I had a nice pink one that is now my daughters toy basket and now have a Max and Ruby laundry basket (not matching the decor of pink and brown) I would choose the Chocolate on pink bag.
