Om Shanti Handcrafts is a cute little corner of Etsy that really does have a revitalizing selection of products for YOU! These all natural bath and body products are made with care in owner Kate Jones' own kitchen. Of particular importance to me is that these products are also nut-safe. Unless otherwise stated, Om Shanti Handcrafts uses no nut oils or other such products.
Kate sent me the Minty Gift Set to review, which was just perfect for me! In the past year or so I've really started to like mint and spearmint scents so I was a happy mama opening this package when it came.
Consisting of a Minty Footy Spray, Minty Footy Salve, Minty Scrubby Soap and Spearmint Lip Balm this set is such a treat. I know moms just don't take the time we should for ourselves and a set like this, something more than a bath wash for example, really forces us to take some time and treat our weary feet to some pampering.
I used the Minty Footy Salve after showering, and the Minty Footy Spray is actually kept in my hall closet (a great little spritz helps with sweaty feet in sandals!) I used the Minty Scrubby Soap in my shower - and I felt like there should have been little speech bubbles above my head as if I were in a comic strip. "Hmm..ok this smells good...huh...wait...well...what the heck is coming off this soap onto my skin...what..are...wait, what the heck are these flakes? Ok, it's working as an exfoliant but...should there be...what IS THIS?" *lol*
Thankfully, Kate explained it all for me and I'm better now. Peppermint leaves were what was falling off the soap as I scrubbed. It may look odd but the result is fabulous!
With Spring finally here (FINALLY, literally we had a heavy snowfall warning just this week), it's time to bring out the sandals and cute summer shoes. The Minty Gift Set is a perfect treat for yourself or another mom you know this Mother's Day. You can purchase it from the Om Shanti Handcrafts Etsy store for $20.00.
Or....you can win 1 set here! To enter, just go to Om Shanti Handcrafts and take a look around at all the other items available.
