Erbaviva is the creation of husband and wife team Robin and Anna. Started in 1996, Erbaviva features products for mommys to be, babies, and of course moms.
The Organic Baby Washbag is the premiere product from Erbaviva and still a favorite today. It's a muslin sachet filled with all organic oatmeal. milk powder, lavender flowers and essential oils of lavender and mandarin.20 sachets are $32.00
Looking through the website, I was really interested in all the Mommy to Be products Erbaviva has to offer. This section isn't just an after-thought like some websites have; there's a great selection here and all would make ideal gifts too. One item that stood out to me was the Baby Blues Massage Oil (not to be used during pregnancy). It's a blend of rose, bergamot, and clery sage which are used to revitalize weary mamas.
The item that I got to try is the Organic Baby Lip & Cheek Balm. Sadly, the bitter cold weather is still here on the Canadian prairies, and Spring isn't very friendly to us once the snow melts either. Chapped and dry cheeks and hands are a common occurrence, and I would have liked to have this product from the beginning of the winter, but at least I have it now. My
16 month old has issues with the T-zone area of her face already, except it's not an oily area - quite the opposite actually. Her eyebrows and bridge of her nose are always dry, and her cheeks get dry too. I was always unsure of what to use - lotion would be the obvious choice but I found it to be too heavy and I also worried about it getting in her eyes.

The way it's designed, it can be applied right to the skin by holding the product and brushing across. With such a tiny girl, I prefer just to wipe the product on my fingers first and then use my fingers to apply it exactly where it needs to be. I have used similar products with my son when he was a baby and found them to be quite greasy which I didn't like. I didn't find the Erbaviva product to be greasy which was super!
